URI History Department honors student Caitlyn Lyon of North Branford for outstanding academic achievement

The history department in the University of Rhode Island's College of Arts and Sciences held an awards ceremony Sunday, April 30, to honor students who have demonstrated excellence in the discipline.

Caitlyn Lyon of North Branford, Conn., received a Department Book Prize for Excellence in History.
