Kimberly Santaite of Mahwah graduates from the University of Rhode Island

The University of Rhode Island and families recently celebrated the achievements of more than 680 students who received their master's or doctoral degrees at the Graduate Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 17 at the Thomas M. Ryan Center on the Kingston Campus.

Graduate student Kimberly Santaite of Mahwah, NJ, received a Master of Science, Speech-Language Pathology.

The graduating class on Saturday included 555 master's degree recipients and 129 doctorate degrees. Fifty eight percent of the students (394) are from Rhode Island followed by 73 from Massachusetts, 35 from Connecticut and 14 from New Jersey. The majority of the students are women 379 (55%) and 299 (45%) and four of the grad students are U.S. Veterans.
