Dylan Gregory Inducted into the Rhode Island Onyx Honor Society at URI

The University of Rhode Island's Black Scholar Awards program honored this year's Rhode Island Onyx Senior Honor Society inductees. Thirty-nine graduating seniors were inducted based on their academic excellence, community service, and cultural pride.

The new members include:

Dylan Gregory of South Kingstown, R.I.

URI Black Faculty Association members, Sociology & Anthropology Professor Donald Cunnigen and Textiles, Fashion Merchandising & Design Associate Professor Yvette Harps-Logan, founded the university's Black Scholar Awards program and honor society chapter in 1998 to recognize African-American graduating seniors for their accomplishments.
